The new look of Carolyn Vaughn Photography

Updates

Welcome to my new website! If you are reading this blog post, then you know things at carolynvaughn.com look a little different than they used to. Over the last several weeks, I’ve been pouring every extra minute of my time into rebranding my business and finally the launch of this new website is the capstone of the whole project.

Can I just say how happy and relieved I am that this baby is finally live? As a small business owner, website management never goes away completely but the largest part of this whole experience is finally off my plate. I am thrilled to go back to focusing my energy on what I love best – providing families with photo shoots that create lasting memories.

So you might be asking yourself why I bothered rebranding at all? (Honestly, there were times over the last few weeks when I asked myself that same question!) My previous website was perfectly fine and met the expectations of my clients. However, my old branding (logo, fonts, colors, site) wasn’t really matching up with the beautiful quality of portrait sessions I’ve been shooting lately. Things just felt “off”. I’ve always prided myself on providing imagery that is beautiful and timeless (a keepsake photo for generations to cherish) but my website was just kind of… generic. So I dove head first into a full rebrand. This time I focused my branding efforts on matching up with the type of portraits I provide and I even sourced new heirloom quality albums to compliment the newer branding.

I have always believed that photos belong on your walls, your mantle, your nightstand, your bookshelf, in frames or in albums. They belong everywhere but a computer file. So now I get to make that a reality for my clients. Each photo session (portrait, family, senior, milestone, etc) receives my guidance on ordering top-quality prints to showcase in your own home. No more digital junk drawer for these photos!

I hope that each of you will love the new look and experience of Carolyn Vaughn Photography. Although it has been more work than I anticipated, I have loved shooting new portrait sessions to compliment my rebrand. Below is just a peek of one of my most recent sessions.

I have to give a heartfelt thank you to all my wonderful clients who bared with me through this whole process. I really did do all of this so you could have the best experience possible and be proud of the memories in your home.
